Born in Ecuador, Sebastian Ulloa’s journey into the arts began at a young age with a fascination with visual arts and movement. After completing his degree in advertising at UDLA in Ecuador, Sebastian worked with different agencies such as: La Facultad, Mayo Draft FCB and Publicis Ecuador to hone his visual techniques. Following this, Sebastian moved into the world of dance and choreography, which has allowed him to travel throughout South America, working with a range of companies, such as the French Institute, to create a platform to showcase the Hip Hop culture in a contemporary scene. In his final months in Ecuador, Sebastian worked with the architect firm Uribe Schwarzkopf to choregraph, act and dance in a series of advertisements which combined the worlds of dance and architecture.
During his time in South America, Sebastian worked with the street dance and Hip Hop community to create a number dance events, seminars and social projects that would enable to Ecuadorian dance community to share their talents globally. Now based in Seoul, South Korea, Sebastian is focusing to further his journey into the world of photography. Using his dancing training, Sebastian can capture the feelings and the intentions of the dancers as well as using his technical skills to create powerful photos that capture the energy of the moment.
Alongside this, Sebastian has started the photo project FORGOTTEN FRAME that shows a glimpse of a daily reality of the people and places in South Korea and how difficult the transition has been to modern times.
